Baked Banana Parcels

static1.squarespace.png

This recipe takes me back to the days of school camps where we would take banana, marshmallow and chocolate, wrap it in foil and heat it over our campfire!

I've recreated this recipe so that it can be enjoyed by the whole family. You can swap up the toppings with a variety of ingredients including sugar free marshmallow, dark agave or just keep it simple by just sprinkling cinnamon.

BAKED BANANA PARCELS

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp dark organic chocolate
1 tbsp crushed nuts (macadamia, almonds and/or hazelnuts)

LETS MAKE IT

Step one
Preheat oven to 180 degrees on bake.

Step two
Peel banana and slice it in half lengthwise. Lay on tin foil. Sprinkle with cinnamon, arrange with cinnamon, dark organic chocolate and crushed nuts.

Step three
Wrap the foil around the banana to form a parcel, put on a baking tray and place in the oven baking for 15 minutes.

Step four
Transfer parcel from oven to plate and serve.
