Gingerbread Smoothie

Nothing says Christmas like gingerbread but when you're eating healthy, the sugar and carbs from this may not be such a great option. This gingerbread smoothie tastes like you're indulging in gingerbread when in fact, its a healthy smoothie version. I made these gingerbread smoothies when my boyfriend and I had our own little Christmas together and served them in mug mason jars with floral lids and candy cane straws while we opened up presents. 

GINGERBREAD SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

1 banana
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp honey or brown rice malt syrup
1 cup coconut drinking milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 heaped tbsp LSA
Large handful of ice

LETS MAKE IT

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy!
